Gigs Calendar – Version 0.2 forthcoming

I’m getting closer to having a 0.2 release ready to go. If anyone wants to test this version before it gets released, send me an email. You can email me at “dan” at this domain. Not all of the features have been implemented yet, but I’ve got a todo list.

Update: If you want to help test stuff, you can join my tester’s mailing list.

Another Update: I’ve got all of the features for 0.2 implemented.  Boy that was a lot.  I just want to do a couple of tests before I release it.  If you want to help, join the tester’s mailing list and I’ll send you the most recent build.

Gigs Calendar – Important bug fix

A commenter pointed out that if you have gigs in the future, they would hide posts in your blog timeline. Version 0.1.4 addresses that bug. There’s also a fix for a bug that was preventing the database tables from being generated. If you can’t seem to create a venue after you installed a previous version of the plugin, let me know and I’ll tell you how to trigger the table creation with this new version.

Thanks Peter!

Gigs Calendar – more bugs squished

I just released version 0.1.3.  This fixes some critical bugs (at least one of which I introduced in 0.1.2 because I didn’t test it enough).  Nick (I would link to you here, but I don’t have a URL) has been very helpful in tracking down many of the bugs I’ve already fixed, especially the gzip bug.  Thanks for all of your patience with me.

Gigs Calendar – Gzip problem fixed

If you have compression turned on in your reading options, any page that this plugin tried to add content to would get borked.  I’ve fixed that problem with version 0.1.2.  The probem still exists in the Discography plugin, but I should have an update for that soon.

Gigs Calendar 0.1.1

It came to my attention that I forgot to add the correct code to generate the database tables for the Gigs Calendar plugin.  You can get version 0.1.1 now.  This should work properly and can be installed directly over 0.1 if you already loaded that.

Gigs Calendar 0.1 release!

I’ve got a rough version of the gigs calendar plugin out now.  I’m looking forward to hearing some feedback from musicians about this one.  You are the ones using this on a day to day basis, so I need your help fine tuning it.

Back from the Holidays

I just got back from the holidays, visiting our families. I will be hard at work at getting up an early version of a gigs calendar this week. Certainly before the new year. After that, I’ll most likely be working on an update to the discography plugin.

Discography 0.1 release!

My brand new Discography plugin for WordPress has finally been released. This should make it very easy for bands to store and display information about their songs. If you’d like a demo of the backend, let me know. Soon, I should be able to link to a few sites using the plugin.
